LSU Cold Case Project

The LSU Cold Case Project is a class offered by the LSU Manship School of Mass Communication where students research and write stories about racially motivated Civil Rights-era Cold Cases.

I took the class for two semesters researching the case of Joseph Edwards and the 1972 Southern University shooting. After I took the class, I was hired as a student researcher to continue work on the Southern case. In my position, I created graphics for stories and also created flyers for various events at the Manship School.
